Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup natural peanut butter

1 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

Add the natural peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) to the mashed bananas and stir until well combined.

Gradually stir in the rolled oats until the mixture is evenly combined and forms a thick batter.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then use the parchment overhang to lift the bars out and cool completely on a wire rack.

Once cooled, cut into squares or rectangles and enjoy! These bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
